MorganAsh’s managing director, Andrew Gething, will be part of a roundtable with the Chartered Insurance Institute. This event is by invitation only.
The roundtable will explore how financial services can harness AI responsibly while meeting the FCA’s Consumer Duty and guidance on vulnerable customers. With AI increasingly seen as a go-to solution, the discussion will focus on its potential to spot early signs of vulnerability, improve compliance, and free advisers to focus on complex, high-value conversations. At the same time, it will address important risks—such as digital exclusion, over-reliance on self-service, and algorithmic bias—that could leave vulnerable groups behind. Participants will consider how to balance innovation with duty of care, ensuring AI helps bridge gaps rather than widen them.
