MorganAsh employs its own highly experienced underwriters, enabling us to work in true partnership with our clients in the financial services sector.

Alison began working with us in 2005, as part of our customer service team – where she progressed to become team leader. From there, she moved to our underwriting department, where she manages the administration of insurance underwriting and claims alongside project managing our pensions research project.

Colin Dip CII
Colin is a highly experienced life and disability underwriter, with over twenty years’ experience working in the industry. Colin holds a life and disability qualification, from the Chartered Insurance Institute. He also studied health sciences with the Open University. Outside of the office, Colin is a supporter of Barnet FC and follower of semi-professional football.

Senior underwriter with over 20 years underwriting experience of Life, Critical Illness and Income Protection products with exposure to both Irish and UK markets. I have worked for several life companies in Ireland. Currently senior underwriter with ATOS.


Our administration team keeps all aspects of our business flowing smoothly.

Helen has been part of the administration team since 2015. Since then she’s worked in many roles, including customer services and general administration. Helen is heavily involved in organising community activities within the area she lives in, she has a keen interest in being involved within her local village and feels it is a very important to build good relationships within the community.

Jenny joined us in 2017. Our Peace of mind lead, she has an A-level in Advanced health and social care and also studied special needs as part of her degree. Alongside Jenny's education and work commitments over the years she has been a carer for her ill and disabled mother, Jenny has an understanding of the difficulties faced by carers of all ages, caring for her mother from the age of 13 years.

Katy BSc
Katy has been with us since September 2014, working as a customer service adviser. She has a degree in psychology. She looks after all aspects of customer service and administration.

Wendy BSc
Wendy has been with us since August 2009 and is our customer services team leader. Wendy’s responsibilities include managing the nurse interview queue, general enquiries, managing annuity quotation requests and handling specialist insurance enquiries. Wendy and her team are the first port of call for enquiries and customers may well speak to her when phoning in.


Our systems team is responsible for developing and managing our bespoke, secure healthcare information systems.

Mike BA (Hons)
Mike is our IT manager. He graduated from Lancaster University, in 1992, with a BA (Hons) in accounting and finance. Although he worked in accounting for a few years, he found himself being drawn more towards the IT side of the business. He’s worked in IT for more than twenty years, mostly in software development – working across several sectors, including finance, pharmaceuticals, higher education and insurance.
