We combine latest technology with clinical expertise to deliver a unique marriage of empathy and efficiency. Our offerings include numerous specialist services such as medical underwriting for financial services and consumer vulnerability management for regulated firms.

  • Johnny Timpson OBE

    CHAIR

    Johnny is a highly regarded industry expert with more than forty years’ experience within the insurance and protection sectors. He holds numerous positions, including as Financial Inclusion Commissioner and as a member of the FCA’s Financial Services Consumer Panel. He is also a member of GAIN, the Group for Autism, Insurance, Investment and Neurodiversity, BIBA Access to Insurance Committee and the Building Resilient Households Group. In addition, he is a founding member of the Financial Resilience Taskforce, an Age Irrelevance Ambassador and a Grief Chat Ambassador.

  • Andrew Gething MBA BSc

    Andrew is the founder and managing director of MorganAsh. He is a highly successful entrepreneur who has taken an IT start-up through growth and profitability to successful acquisition and floated a private computer games company on the London Stock Exchange. Andrew is a structural engineer graduate, previously a Chartered Structural Engineer, and holds an MBA from Sheffield Business School. He is a recognised consumer vulnerability specialist and champion, is the driving force behind the award-winning consumer vulnerability management tool, MARS – adopted in the financial services, credit and utilities sectors. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys walking, gardening and golfing.

  • Daniel McClellan

    OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Dan is responsible for the day-to day running of business operations – this includes all relationship management, working with customers and internal teams to ensure that our services are delivered against agreed service levels and key performance indicators. Included in this are the quality assessments and security audits essential to our offerings. Dan has worked in several managerial and back-office posts across the banking and insurance sectors, over a period of twenty-five years. Outside of work, Dan is a keen Manchester City fan and father of three.

  • Glyn Isaac

    FINANCE MANAGER

    Glyn manages MorganAsh’s finance department and is responsible for our financial planning, analysis, monthly and annual reporting, risk management and cash-flow management – and providing the senior team with up-to-date management information. He has worked with many companies of MorganAsh’s size and is experienced in all areas of financial management, forecasting and fund-raising. He is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA). Outside of work, Glyn is both a keen golfer and hockey player.

  • Kay Haighton-Lloyd RN MA

    NURSE MANAGER

    Kay is a registered nurse and has a master’s degree in gerontology. Kay has been a senior ward sister on a nursing development unit; she has a professional background in rehabilitation and is a qualified trainer – and has undertaken several years of academic research into intergenerational activities. Having had two years’ experience as a twenty-four-hour, full-time home carer for her terminally ill mum before working for MorganAsh, Kay has a first-hand appreciation of the difficulties faced by carers. In the last 10 years Kay has also lectured student nurses in university and helped a GP practice undertake frailty assessments. In her spare time, Kay helps out with her grandchildren, runs 5K three times a week, walks her neighbour’s dog every day and practises yoga.

  • Tracey Johnson

    UNDERWRITING MANAGER

    Tracey is a hugely experienced and professionally qualified medical underwriter. In addition to underwriting, Tracey assesses all new business and claims as well as helps to assist and train new underwriters. Tracey has worked for MorganAsh for many years, following a long career working for large life insurance providers across the UK and Ireland. Outside of work, Tracey sits on the boards of several charities and actively volunteers in her local community.

  • Peter Labrow

    HEAD OF MARKETING

    Peter is responsible for our marketing strategy and marketing communications – and is a keen consumer vulnerability advocate. Peter has over thirty-five years’ business-to-business marketing experience, including at board level and as an agency owner – along with over a decade of working in a parallel role as a journalist/writer with Haymarket Media Group. Peter is co-author of the PR book Is It News? and top-selling horror novel The Well. Outside of work, Peter enjoys walking, photography, writing, drawing and videography. He also organises community events, such as concerts, exhibitions and drama performances.

    Nurse case managers

    MorganAsh’s team of senior, highly experienced and qualified nurses has been assessing and helping vulnerable people for around twenty years; the team has a combined experience of around two hundred years specialising in insurance interviews, claims support and working with vulnerable people. The nurses work directly with consumers to deliver services which rely on real well-being expertise and professional empathy.

    MorganAsh’s underwriting and claims team supports firms within the insurance industry. They are highly experienced at evaluating and assessing the risk associated with insuring individuals or groups based on medical history and health status. We provide medical underwriting and claims services to many leading UK insurance firms.

    Customer services

    Our customer services team works with our clients – and their customers – across our full range of offerings. They provide customer support, issue resolution, order processing, collection of feedback, sales support, coordination with our other teams, performance metrics and more. They’re a friendly and efficient team who play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction. This includes providing services out of hours, to accommodate people’s working lives.

    Technical development

    Our technical development team is responsible for designing, building, maintaining and supporting our information systems – such as MARS (the MorganAsh Resilience System). These systems are unique to MorganAsh and have been designed with specific needs in mind. Security and data privacy are also key roles of the team – MorganAsh is an ISO 27001-certified company and a Cyber Essentials Plus-certified company.

MorganAsh has a twenty-year track record of bringing innovation to the financial services sector. Along the way, we’ve picked up several awards for our work, most recently for our contribution to the field of Consumer Duty and customer vulnerability.
