MorganAsh collect independent intelligent information on applicants for life insurance. Based in the North West of England, we form long-term partnerships with life insurance companies to reduce costs, increase revenues and improve customer satisfaction.

We provide high quality tele-underwriting and innovative non-invasive medical screening services. These services, although highly complementary, can be deployed separately as required.

Tele-underwriting is the use of a telephone interview as the primary means of gathering risk-related information about an applicant for life assurance. It is a concept that evolved in the US and is now established business practice there, with well over one million tele-interviews being performed each year.

The aim of a tele-interview is to obtain information on the medical history of the applicant by talking them through their medical history.  All the applicants are pre-informed of the interview – which can take between 15-45 minutes.

All Tele-Interviewers receive extensive training at the outset, plus ongoing training during the course of employment.

Initial training course includes:

Induction – the business of MorganAsh
Basics of Life Insurance, different products
Basics of Underwriting, mortality and morbidity issues
Conversation management techniques
Systems and how to get the best out of them

We offer a flexible working arrangement. Our Tele-Interviewers can work as many or as few hours as they wish, and can change these hours to suit their family and other commitments.

As we are calling members of the public and discussing their medical background, it is best if this is undertaken in private, and many people will wish to be called at home, and in the evenings. Hence Tele-interviewers are expected to work in the evenings to accommodate this.

Initially everyone is based at the MorganAsh Intelligence Hub in Manor Park, Runcorn. In the future there will be the opportunity to work from home. The office hours are:

                        9.00 – 9.00 Monday- Thursday

                        9.00 – 5.00 Friday

                        10.00 – 4.00 Saturday
